Charles F. Henderson II

The Palm Beach Civic Association acknowledges with deep appreciation the exceptional life and service of Charles F. Henderson II who died on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, in Palm Beach. He was 88.

Charlie was a Civic Association director and a prominent community figure.  He loved Palm Beach and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Association’s efforts to protect and improve the Town.

A former resident of Rumson NJ, he retired and became a full-time Palm Beach resident in 1987.

In addition to his involvement as a Civic Association director, he was a member of St. Edward parish for more than 30 years and a board member at Lourdes-Noreen McKeen Retirement Community.

Charlie enjoyed membership in The Everglades Club, the Beach Club, the Sailfish Club, the Palm Beach Yacht Club and Club Colette.

At the Civic Association, we will miss this special man.  We extend our deepest sympathies to his family.
