The Palm Beach Civic Association acknowledges with appreciation the exceptional life and service of our Honorary Director Alec Flamm who passed away on Friday, November 16.
Al represented the very best of the Palm Beach Civic Association. He served as a director and executive committee member from 1997-2007; vice chairman in 1999; and vice chairman and treasurer from 2000 to 2007. He led the organization in addressing every critical town issue from strategic planning to underground utility lines. He was a highly respected community leader who made a positive and lasting contribution to the Town of Palm Beach.
All of us at the Civic Association will miss Al greatly. We deeply valued his wisdom, experience, and, most of all, his friendship. We extend our sympathies to his wife, Miriam, and his family.
