Pieces of Palm Beach history were sold Monday to locals and visitors alike. “This is the end of Testa’s. We’re sorry,” auction house owner Harry Stampler said. “We’re knocking down the building and progress is happening, so raise your hands and wave your paddles.”
About 50 people attended Testa’s auction Monday afternoon held by Sampler Auctions. Some just wanted to bid on memorabilia that reminded them of their favorite place, while others had their eye on items for their own business.
