Friends of Palm Beach had 51 volunteers on Saturday morning at the beach near Dolphin Road to clean our beaches.
The crew removed 75 lbs of trash that included a LOT of little plastic pieces that do the most harm for our wildlife due to ingestion.
"Thanks to all who came out on a beautiful morning to make a difference," said Diane Buhler, founder of the organization. "The influx of ocean roaming plastics and trash is never ending."
The next three beach clean-ups will be May 13th, June 17th, July 15th. Check the newsletter the Friday before for the locations. Help keep the island beautiful.
