BALTIMORE —It might have been mid-September, but it felt like Christmas morning Wednesday for eighth-grader Sade Harris. That's because Ms. Harris got to meet her favorite author, James Patterson, a Civic Association Director.
Mr. Patterson, who is known for his best-selling "Alex Cross" detective series and his middle school series for young readers spent Wednesday morning at the Enoch Pratt Library's central branch. Mr. Patterson is giving 25,000 copies of his children's book to third-through seventh-grade students in the city.
