To reduce the population of Zika carrying mosquitoes the Town of Palm Beach will be treating storm drains throughout the Town with an EPA approved larvicide on May 24, May 25, and May 26.

This action is an important part of a comprehensive plan to prevent a Zika outbreak in Palm Beach.

The Town’s mosquito control efforts will greatly reduce our risks for a local Zika transmission, but property owners must play a part for maximum effectiveness.  Call your local pest control company to explore spraying options for backyards and follow recommendations for eliminating breeding conditions, including the use of larvicides on private property.
