Federal laws regulating tap water is so out of date that the water you drink can pose what scientists say are serious health risks, yet still be legal.

The Town of Palm Beach has had its well known problems with water quality from the water it gets from West Palm Beach.  The problems have even been bad enough to cause pipe damage.

Examine whether contaminants in the West Palm Beach water supply met two standards: the legal limits established by the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the typically stricter health guidelines. The data was collected by an advocacy organization, the Environmental Working Group, who shared it with The NY Times.
