PALM BEACH, Florida - On April 9th, construction began on South Ocean Boulevard for the force main project. Work is being performed between Sloan’s and Widener’s Curves. Currently, South Ocean Boulevard between Sloan’s Curve and Southern Boulevard is open to traffic while minor work is being completed. As work intensifies a transition to full road closure will be implemented.
At the immediate construction site, traffic will be directed by flaggers. Please read construction signage carefully and drive cautiously within the work area. Expect delays within this area. A notification will be sent out informing the public of when the road closure will begin.
The Town has placed project updates for the force main project on its website. To access the project update simply go to the Town’s website http://www.townofpalmbeach.com/ and “click” on the “For Residents” pull down menu, then select “A-39 to A-7 Force Main Replacement”, and then select most current update.
