No Left Turn signs at the West Palm Beach intersection that leads to the Royal Palm bridge are in place to thin out traffic congestion. They were originally put up to help with the flow of heavy traffic when the north bridge was closed and more people were using Royal Palm.
But the north bridge has been back open for several months, and the signs have left in place because traffic planners say they’re still helping with traffic flow in a busy area.
Some who live in the area, however, say even though traffic flow is better at the intersection of Flagler and Lakeview, taking left turns away has caused trouble in other spots nearby.
