Flagler [North] Bridge Lane Closures

Flagler Memorial Bridge Replacement

The Flagler Memorial Bridge will have lane closures from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, and nightly lane closures 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, through Thursday, June 1, and from Sunday, June 4, through Thursday, June 8, with closures alternating between eastbound and westbound lanes. One lane will remain open during this time.

Traffic Summit Seeks Answers to West Palm Gridlock & Safety

WEST PALM BEACH -- Just how to make Okeechobee, between Australian Avenue and the Intracoastal Waterway, less scary was the point of a meeting Monday at the convention center, where about 200 city, county and state officials gathered. Palm Beach's Mayor Gail Coniglio was a host at the meeting. The Civic Association helped underwrite the summit.

Gov. Scott Ceremoniously Signs Lake O Reservoir Bill

LAKE HARBOR, Florida -- Gov. Rick Scott ceremoniously signed a bill on Friday that includes money to speed construction of a reservoir south of Lake Okeechobee. Scott officially signed Senate Bill 10 on Tuesday.

Scholarship Awarded to Town Employee's Daughter

Sofia Rivero was awarded this year’s Town of Palm Beach College Scholarship for children of Town employees during the Town Council meeting this week. The scholarship is sponsored by the Palm Beach Civic Association and the Citizens’ Association and was announced by Mayor Gail Coniglio.
