Allison Tardonia joined the Palm Beach Civic Association this week as the Membership and Events Manager. Please join us in welcoming Allison!
See Allison's bio below:
Born and raised in Kinnelon, New Jersey, Allison is graduate of Montclair State University. Upon moving to South Florida, Allison’s first job was as a summer youth program supervisor at The Breakers in Palm Beach, before beginning what would be a 17-year long career in the adult residential community market.
In 1998, Allison joined the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach in a part-time role that quickly turned full-time – and was recruited to join their Development team. Since leaving the Kravis Center in 2004, Allison has held development leadership roles with Palm Beach Opera, Northwood University, and Urban Youth Impact, all in West Palm Beach. In 2016, Allison focused on managing aspects of fundraising campaign and event projects for contracted non-profit organizations.
In addition to her work on Kravis Center and Palm Beach Opera annual galas and donor recognition events, Allison was the Executive Director for Northwood University’s signature programs – overseeing national recognition events including the Outstanding Business Leader Awards Gala weekend held in Palm Beach each year.
Allison has been involved in the community through memberships with the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Allison currently serves on the Advisory Council for the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University’s Jupiter campus.
Allison has been a resident of Jupiter for 22 years, and in her spare time, enjoys walks on the beach with her Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Grace.
