Par 3 Superintendent Named #PalmBeach Employee of the Year
The Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course has achieved enormous success since undergoing renovation three years ago.
On Thursday, the town recognized an employee who’s largely responsible for that success.
Golf Superintendent Tim Campbell was named Town Employee of the Year during a Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Kravis Center. He’s the 39th employee to get a plaque and picture included on the Town Hall Wall of Fame.
“Ever since I graduated from college I wanted to work at a golf course on the ocean and I feel lucky I get to live that dream every day,” said Campbell, who started with the town in 2005. “I feel lucky I get to come to a place where I love to work every day.”
Mayor Gail Coniglio presented the plaque along with a bag of golf goodies, including a hat. Ned Barnes of the Palm Beach Civic Association and Donald Singer of the Citizens’ Association of Palm Beach presented Campbell a check for $3,500.
