The Town Council is expected to approve spending $200,000 for professionals to assist the town in opposing the proposed Lake Worth Inlet expansion project at its Tuesday meeting.

Listed as part of the council’s consent agenda, Town Manager Peter Elwell is recommending the council ratify his decision to spend $150,000 to engage state and federal lobbyists, and $50,000 toward litigation.
