Colorado State University's Updated July Outlook: The 2018 Atlantic hurricane season is increasingly expected to be less active than average, according to an updated seasonal outlook released by Colorado State University.

This has been one of the busiest hurricane seasons on record with 16 named storms, including 10 hurricanes and 6 major storms. November usually only has 5% of the storms, vs. 34% of the storms during the season peak in September.
